It is finalized for Peace River Schutzhund Clubs upcoming trial. The club has secured the weekend of September 28th with the DVG for an IPO trial. BH , IPO 1, IPO 2 and IPO 3 routines are all part of the agenda. It is not set in stone yet about Friday night being a part of the event. It will all depend on how many entries are slated to participate. Our biggest concern at this moment in time is to have all those wanting to participate to get their paperwork processed in due time. The DVG is presently going through some growing pains of their own and are currently behind in this department. We can not emphasize enough how important it is to get your paperwork in the works so you do not miss out in participating. The club will be appointing committee(s) to help in organizing and tweaking certain tasks to ensure a flawless representation for the club. There are still some areas on the field that need to be addressed and as soon as another work day is established it will be posted. To help raise monies for the trial there will be a CGC fund raiser on August the 4th. More details will be discussed at the special meeting on may 19th !!
Anyone knowing of some dirt fields for tracking purposes please let the board know so the club can secure them for trial weekend. There will also be a raffle fund raiser for trial weekend....so any items or goods that anyone wants to donate will be greatly appreciated. The club will be asking local hotel/motels for reduced rates for those out of towners needing accommodations. If you are a club member and have extra room to help reduce costs for those coming from afar , please speak up. With our upcoming trial we are asking companies for their generous support in offering any literature and or products for donation. These donations will be part of a huge raffle we will be holding to raise much needed monies to help for expenses incurred to run such a trial and other upcoming events. In return they will receive advertising on our website page with a link to their own website and facebook page along with literature at all of our events for promotion and acknowledgement for them.
